With substantial market traction already validating the value proposition which we have to offer to our customers, combined with the continuing rapid growth of the renewable energy market, we are on a mission to build a unique and differentiated experience for our end customers and world-class sales and service organization for New Home Builders and our channel partners.

The company is in its early stage of growth – rapidly moving on from product development, market validation and initial commercialization to building a scalable organization structure, infrastructure and service platforms. We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated; results oriented and have the passion to succeed in a highly entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment. To succeed in this role you will possess a combination of leadership abilities with detail-oriented execution skills and business savvy.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze markets for priority regions of focus, competitive landscape and target customers
  • Work closely with the Business Development and Marketing functions to jointly develop regional market development and marketing plans
  • Build a world-class sales team with expertise in selling into the New Homes market
  • Establish and achieve quarterly and yearly sales quotas
  • Develop best costs and scalable processes and systems required to manage a sales organization based across multiple geographies
  • Drive implementation of an effective sales forecasting system
  • Develop and manage expense budgets
  • Manage ASPs and accounts receivables to pre-defined targets
  • Develop and manage regional strategic partnerships, as required


Candidate qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in a closely related industry i.e. high value products sold into the New Homes market, products which require at least some installation expertise and service backup
  • 5+ years of the above experience in a leadership role, ideally leading teams of 10+ sales people
  • Experience in developing and managing regional and national strategic partnerships
  • Proven ability to recruit, motivate, develop and manage top sales performers
  • Proven ability to drive aggressive, market share focused sales growth and meet targets
  • A graduate level qualification in a related field
  • Strong communication abilities – both verbal and written – and presentation abilities
  • Experience in marketing / developing value proposition for products to end consumers is an advantage
  • Some technical background and experience communication value proposition of technical products, is an advantage
  • Organizational skills, self-motivation and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Up to 50% domestic / international travel
